In der Serie „Normal People“ werden Figurenfragmente aus Fotografien herausgelöst und in abstrakte Farbkompositionen integriert. Die Figuren treten deutlich hervor, erinnern an Comic- und Street-Art-Elemente und bleiben dennoch anonym. Im Zusammenspiel mit den Farben entsteht die Stimmung eines flüchtigen Moments.

For the paintings in the “Normal People” series, details of figures are digitally extracted from photographs and placed within the context of abstract color compositions. The figures move into the foreground; their visual language recalls elements of comic and street art. They remain anonymous, yet together with the abstract colors they reflect the mood of a transient moment.
