A tense face that expects a surprising occurrence is the base of the picture. It consists of an electronic overlay of a photo detail with an elder sketched graphic. The graphic structure change the emphasis of formal elements. The result is an electronic collage that has been printed and spray mounted on foam board. The color scheme of the painting process emphasizes further the formal structure. The final pictures have been casted with epoxy resin in a white box frame. During the casting process a contrasting gentle wavy structure has been produced with the use of a heating lamp. The resin gives it a special glimmer and and a glance of a background light on the color structure.
Ein angespanntes Gesicht, das Überraschendes erwartet, ist die Grundlage des Bildes. Das Bild besteht aus einer elektronischen Überlagerung eines Fotoausschnittes mit einer älteren Graphikskizze. Die graphische Struktur verändert die Gewichtung einzelner Formelemente. Der Druck der elektronischen Collage wurde auf Foamplatte aufgezogen und im anschliessenden Malprozess die auflösende Struktur der Grafik weiter betont. Das fertige Bild wurde in einem weißen Kastenrahmen mit Epoxid Harz vergossen. Im Prozess des Gießens wurde mit einer Wärmelampe eine leichte Wellenstruktur erzeugt, die eine kontrastierende weiche Struktur einbringt. Durch das Harz entsteht ein spezieller Schimmer, der den Eindruck eines Hintergrundlichts schafft und die Farbstruktur weiter betont.
